پژوهشگران دانشگاه ورشو، دانشگاه ماریا گرزورزوسکا، و دانشگاه وروکلاو لهستان در پژوهشی بدیع به بررسی تاثیرات و روابطه بین شخصیت مادران و ایجاد جو خلاقیت برای فرزندان آنها در محیط زندگی پرداختند.
???در این پژوهش پیمایشی ۳۰۷۳ مادر داوطلب بین سنین ۱۷ تا ۵۶ سال شرکت نموده و داده‌های حاصل پرسشنامه پنج عامل شخصیت TIPI و پرسشنامه جو خلاقانه در روابط والد-کودک از آنها بعمل آمد.
???نتایج نشان دادند:
- تشویق برای تجربه تنوع و موارد جدید، تشویق برای عدم تبعیت، حمایت از درجازدن در تلاش های خلاقانه، و تشویق خیال‌پردازی منجر به تقویت جو خلاقیت برای فرزندان می‌شود.
- گشودگی نسبت به تجربه، عامل کلیدی مثبت پیش‌بینی کننده آن دسته از فعالیت‌های مادران است که منجر به جو خلاقیت در تعامل با فرزندانشان می‌شود.
- ثبات هیجانی مادران پیش‌بینی کننده مثبت میزان تشویق فرزند از سوی وی برای جستجوی تازگی و تنوع، و حمایت از درجازدن در تلاش خلاقانه است.
- وظیفه‌شناسی مادران رابطه مثبت با میزان تشویق فرزندان به تجربه موارد جدید و تنوع، و حمایت از تلاش خلاقانه آنها، و رابطه منفی با تشویق فرزندان به رفتارهای غیرتبعیت‌جویانه دارد.
- دلپذیربودن مادران رابطه مثبت با تمایل آنها به حمایت از فرزندان در تلاش خلاقانه دارد.
- برونگرایی مادران پیش‌بینی کننده مثبت تشویق فرزندان به جستجوی تازگی و تنوع، و حمایت از تلاش خلاقانه است.
Mothers’ personality traits and the climate for creativity they build with their children
Abstract
Parents’ attitudes, behaviors, and traits are significant predictors of their children’s creative ability. Not much is known, however, about intentional actions taken by parents to develop and support children’s creativity.
Based on a literature review and a pilot study (Kwaśniewska & Lebuda, 2017) we have formulated four factors that make up the climate for creativity in a parent-child relationship.
To verify the construct empirically, we administered an originally designed questionnaire to mothers in Poland (N = ۳۰۷۳). The analysis of results confirms, as predicted, that the following factors contribute to the climate for creativity in the home environment:
- encouragement to experience novelty and variety.
- encouragement of nonconformism.
- support of perseverance in creative efforts.
- and encouragement to fantasize.
Next, we investigated how mothers’ Big Five personality traits were linked to particular climate dimensions.
Our findings show that openness to experience is the key positive predictor of mothers’ activities that shape the climate for creativity in her relationship with the child.
The other Big Five traits are associated either positively or negatively with particular dimensions of the climate for creativity.
